About the position

The Mid-Market Account Executive at G2 is responsible for driving revenue by selling branding solutions to marketing and sales teams within the software industry. This role requires a proactive sales approach, focusing on new logo acquisition and maintaining a healthy sales pipeline. The position offers opportunities for accelerated compensation and career progression for high-performing individuals in a dynamic sales environment.

Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue by understanding and aligning G2 solutions to client objectives.
  • Create ideas for clients on how G2 fits into their strategy and effectively communicate those ideas via sales presentations.
  • Engage with clients by email and phone from initial contact to closed deal.
  • Prospect and drive new business in an assigned territory.
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline to meet sales goals.
  • Research and become a knowledge expert in industry trends and information.
  • Utilize partner sales channels to develop and close pipeline.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of quota carrying sales experience as an Account Executive focused on new logo acquisition.
  • A proven track record of high performance and exceeding quota.
  • Experience in B2B SaaS, Marketing Tech Stack, or Digital Media sales preferred.
  • Experience in a B2B environment and ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative team environment.
  • Experience presenting to C-level professionals.
  • A driven and competitive personality with a willingness to figure it out and do your best work.
  • Innate curiosity and great listening skills to understand buyers and their business.
