At CSIS we actively seek to employ a diverse group of people who embody our organizational values. We welcome and encourage individuals of all backgrounds to apply, especially those from traditionally underrepresented groups. The Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) is a non-profit, bipartisan public policy organization established in 1962 to provide strategic insights and practical policy solutions to decision makers concerned with global security and prosperity. Over the years, it has grown to be one of the largest organizations of its kind, with a staff of some 200 employees working to address the changing dynamics of international security across the globe. The Andreas C. Dracopoulos iDeas Lab, the award-winning creative and digital production department at CSIS, an international policy think tank in Washington, D.C., continues to be the gold standard for innovation in using cutting-edge multimedia production to bring policy research to life. We seek a highly motivated, organized, creative self-starter to join our dynamic and fast-paced team as a mid-level or senior web designer. This is an ideal opportunity for a seasoned web designer with advanced design, UX/UI, technical and communication skills with a passion for bridging the intersection between design, technology, and public policy. This position is involved in all aspects of digital product design. Projects include but are not limited to: issue-focused websites, dynamic data visualizations, interactive digital features, long-form media-rich digital reports, and other web products and media packages.
