About the position

The Mid / Sr Financial Program Manager will oversee technical projects related to financial systems, specifically focusing on Treasury systems. This role requires strong analytical and interpersonal skills to engage with both executives and technical teams, ensuring timely delivery and effective project governance. The position is remote and allows for C2C or 1099 arrangements.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex financial systems implementations, preferably Treasury systems.
• Engage with Treasury Modernization teams to ensure timely delivery across various teams including development, testing, and analytics.
• Identify and address gaps, impediments, and executables within workstream teams.
• Oversee project governance and vendor management.
• Assess risks associated with projects and implement mitigation strategies.
• Facilitate scope and status calls with cross-functional teams.
• Create work breakdown structures and high-level project plans.
• Manage vendor delivery and ensure compliance with project timelines.
• Work with leadership teams to establish project priorities.
• Utilize Agile and Waterfall methodologies in project management.
• Handle multiple initiatives and manage multiple programs simultaneously.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Program Manager or Delivery Manager in financial systems implementations.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and understanding of regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with technical and business teams.
• Experience managing onshore and offshore teams and contractors.
• Familiarity with 'ATOM Treasury and Risk' system from Financial Sciences is a major plus.
• Experience in modern IT technical/software/systems implementation.
