About the position

The Middle School Art Teacher at Edison Local School District is responsible for providing quality art education to students in grades 6-8. Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging art curriculum for middle school students.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity.
• Assess and evaluate student progress and provide feedback on their artistic development.
• Organize art exhibitions and showcase student work to the school community.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to integrate art into the broader educational experience.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Art Education or related field.
• Valid teaching license for the state of Ohio.
• Experience teaching art at the middle school level is preferred.
