About the position

Huron Academy is seeking a Middle School Flag Football Coach to lead and develop the school's flag football program. This part-time, seasonal position will commence in early April and conclude in early June, providing an opportunity to engage with students in a sports setting while promoting teamwork and physical fitness.

Responsibilities

• Coach and mentor middle school students in flag football skills and strategies.
• Plan and conduct practices to improve team performance.
• Organize and oversee flag football games and events.
• Foster a positive and inclusive team environment.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in coaching or playing flag football is preferred.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire students.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous experience coaching youth sports.
• Knowledge of flag football rules and regulations.
