About the position

The Dalton School is seeking dedicated and experienced coaches for middle school and high school athletic teams for the winter season of 2024-2025. The role involves coaching various sports, including basketball, indoor track, squash, swimming, and wrestling, from late October through mid-February. Coaches are expected to work approximately 15 hours a week during the specified hours.

Responsibilities

• Coach middle school and high school teams in designated sports.
• Plan and conduct practices and training sessions.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all student-athletes during practices and competitions.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school administration.
• Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and a positive athletic experience.

Requirements

• Previous coaching and/or playing experience in relevant sports.
• Availability from approximately 2:30 PM to 6:30 PM during the season.
• Possession or ability to obtain First Aid/CPR/AED certifications before the start of the season.

Benefits

• Competitive salary range of $1,500 - $7,000 per season based on experience.
