About The Position
We are seeking an inspiring and dedicated Middle School History Teacher to join our dynamic and growing middle school community. As a history teacher, you will bring intellectual curiosity, depth, and rigor to your lessons, helping students develop critical thinking skills and a strong foundation in historical inquiry. Your teaching will not only prepare students for high school and beyond but also foster a deep appreciation for history's relevance to the modern world. We value educators who stay informed on current world events and thoughtfully integrate relevant themes into lessons to deepen student engagement. You will collaborate intentionally with colleagues across disciplines to create interdisciplinary learning experiences that broaden students' perspectives. In the classroom, you will cultivate an environment that encourages students to think critically, ask meaningful questions, and develop historical perspectives that foster empathy and global awareness. By engaging students through discussions, primary source analysis, and thought-provoking projects, you will inspire a lifelong appreciation for history. As a role model, you will demonstrate a love for learning and intellectual curiosity, inspiring your students to grow both academically and personally. Beyond the classroom, our teachers play an integral role in the school community by providing extra support to students, offering guidance, and building meaningful and supportive relationships.
