About the position
We are seeking a Permanent Middle School Substitute Teacher for the 2023/2024 school year. The candidate will be responsible for providing instruction and support to students in the absence of the regular teacher. This position requires a commitment to work daily throughout the school year, ensuring that students receive a consistent and high-quality educational experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide instruction to students in the absence of the regular teacher
- Support student learning and engagement
- Manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment
- Prepare and implement lesson plans as needed
- Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents
Requirements
- Must possess or be eligible for NJ Substitute Certificate
- Ability to work daily for the entire school year
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively
Benefits
