About the position

Lake Oconee Academy is seeking a dedicated Middle School Science Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) to middle and high school students, contributing to the school's mission of excellence in preparing students for post-secondary education.

Responsibilities

• Teach Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) subjects to middle and high school students.
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
• Assess and evaluate student performance and provide feedback to students and parents.
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to enhance the educational experience.
• Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Requirements

• Must be certified in the field of Science for grades 6-12.
• A Master's degree in the field of Science is preferred but not required.
• Ability to verify Georgia certification or provide certification from another state.
