The Oracle SaaS-at-Customer (SaaS@C) and OCI DRCC (Dedicated Region Cloud-at-Customer) service is an innovative offering that provides Oracle customers with the software and services of the Oracle Cloud, hosted on hardware installed in the customer's own data center or in Oracle dedicated regions. As a member of the SaaS Engineering Operations team, you will play a crucial role in delivering strategic technical support and solutions to Oracle cloud customers while advocating for their needs. This position involves engaging in OCI DRCC Region Builds and Operations Engineering, as well as the design, development, building, releasing, and supporting of SaaS at Customer Control Plane and microservices. In this role, you will collaborate closely with core product development, OCI DevSecOps teams, and customer operations teams to address complex and critical customer system issues on a routine basis. You will be responsible for documenting technical solutions and providing direction and mentoring to others. The work is non-routine and complex, requiring advanced technical and business skills in your area of specialization. You will engage in operational activities such as monitoring, installation, patching, and upgrading Oracle Fusion middleware and Oracle database implementations. This position is full-time, with morning and afternoon shifts, and may require some weekend shifts for maintenance and support activities. As a key member of the SaaS Engineering Operations team, you will have full stack deployment and support responsibilities. You will work directly with customers, product development, and product support to resolve critical application or performance issues in a timely manner. Your authority will extend to ensuring end-to-end performance and operability, performing frequent planned disaster recovery switchovers, and utilizing a deep understanding of service topology and dependencies to troubleshoot issues and define mitigations. You will also be expected to stay abreast of software testing technologies and best practices, manage and operate the infrastructure and configuration of microservices, and apply DevSecOps methodologies to guide current and future development projects.
