About the position

The MIG Welder position involves performing MIG welding tasks primarily focused on constructing jail cells and other related duties. The role requires proficiency in welding techniques and the ability to work with various metals, ensuring high-quality production standards in a manufacturing environment.

• Selecting, measuring, cutting, and joining appropriate metals to specifications.

Requirements

• 1-4 years of experience in MIG welding.
• Proficiency in MIG welding techniques, including understanding of different materials such as steel and aluminum.
• Familiarity with MIG welding machines, tools, and equipment, including setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Ability to weld in different positions (flat, horizontal, vertical, overhead) and under various conditions.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate with other welders, fabricators, and supervisors.
