About the position

The Mig Welder position involves performing welding tasks for an established company that specializes in designing and manufacturing Class 6 to 8 dump bodies. This role offers opportunities for growth and development within a reputable organization known for its innovative and high-performance products.

Responsibilities

  • Perform welding tasks to ensure all gaps are closed by fitting parts and welding them together.
  • Weld around the edges of floors to sides and front gate.
  • Use a jib crane to position the front gate between sides, clamp, tack, and weld it into place.
  • Move tacked tailgate onto a fixture using a jib boom and complete the welds, ensuring high-quality weld appearance.

Requirements

  • Experience in MIG welding techniques.
  • Ability to work full-time hours, including Saturdays.
  • Familiarity with using jib cranes and other welding equipment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous experience in manufacturing or construction environments.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols in welding operations.
