UTI's Military Admissions Representatives play a crucial role in transforming lives by guiding students towards their career aspirations. This position involves working within a designated geographical territory of military bases, where the representative will conduct career presentations, interview prospective students, and engage with individuals who are passionate about learning and skill development. Prioritizing schedules effectively to maximize time is essential for success in this position. The responsibilities of the Military Admissions Representative include networking with military bases to foster relationships, conducting educational and motivational presentations, utilizing marketing and recruiting tools to promote Universal Technical Institute, and addressing potential students' concerns to ensure they are well-informed about their career opportunities. The representative will also maintain knowledge of UTI programs and financing options to answer questions during presentations, keep travel logs to track visits and leads, and adhere to regulatory compliance criteria. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Network with military bases to maintain and build relationships with military personnel and prospective students.
  • Conduct educational and motivational presentations to encourage individuals to pursue higher education at Universal Technical Institute.
  • Utilize marketing and recruiting tools to effectively communicate the Universal Technical Institute story to prospects.
  • Address potential students' concerns to ensure they are fully informed about career opportunities at Universal Technical Institute.
  • Conduct follow-ups throughout the year with potential students to maintain engagement.
  • Maintain knowledge of Universal Technical Institute programs, financing options, and other pertinent information to answer questions during presentations.
  • Keep travel logs and reports to track the number of visits and leads generated.
  • Adhere to all regulatory compliance criteria and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Experience with public speaking preferred.
  • Military and recruiting experience preferred.
  • 2 years of sales experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong presentation and sales skills.
  • Self-starter and highly motivated.
  • Excellent customer service attitude.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Knowledge of personal computer software applications and customer relationship management database.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Multi-tasking and organizational skills, with the ability to adapt to a changing fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to build effective relationships.
  • Ability to analyze and report data.
