About the position

The Growth Lead for Military Health and Veterans Affairs at LMI is responsible for driving business development efforts to expand the company's portfolio in military health and veterans affairs. This role involves identifying and qualifying opportunities with key agencies such as the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and the Defense Health Agency (DHA), while also providing strategic insights and fostering relationships with decision-makers in the sector. The position requires a collaborative approach within a matrixed organization to ensure alignment with LMI's growth strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and qualify a high-quality pipeline of opportunities in military health and veterans affairs.
  • Conduct thorough research on industry trends and competitor landscape to identify new market opportunities.
  • Cultivate strategic partnerships to expand market reach and access new customer segments.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with key decision-makers at prospective clients and partners.
  • Communicate market intelligence back to LMI stakeholders to inform solutions and opportunity selection.
  • Design and implement account plans for the military health and veterans affairs portfolio.
  • Develop and implement call plans to engage customers and shape opportunities.
  • Support capture and proposal efforts to enhance the ability to win opportunities.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of business development experience in military health and veterans affairs consulting.
  • Strong record of business results in the military health and veterans affairs space.
  • Familiarity with key domains such as medical readiness, logistics, and IT modernization.
  • Deep understanding of military health and veterans affairs clients and stakeholders.
