About the position

As a Senior Military Human Resource Management Specialist, you will leverage your extensive military experience to provide strategic and operational expertise in military security cooperation projects. This role involves advising senior partner nation defense officials and designing human resource management solutions related to compensation, benefits, employee relations, compliance, and recruiting. You will work independently, mentor team members, and develop innovative solutions to complex advising problems.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a Human Resource Management subject matter expert on military security cooperation projects.
  • Research and analyze advising needs for military human resource management.
  • Design and implement advising projects focused on compensation, benefits, employee relations, compliance, and recruiting.
  • Develop innovative solutions to complex advising problems.
  • Mentor or supervise other team members.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of military experience in human resource management and human capital approaches.
  • Experience managing the human resource management life cycle for a large organization.
  • Experience interacting with foreign nation senior defense and military personnel.
  • Experience working at the Joint Staff, Combatant Command, Service, or Service Component staff level.
  • Knowledge of military and defense human resources management life cycle functions and processes.
  • Secret clearance.
  • Master's degree.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience applying workforce management analysis to advise on organizational or force structure design.
  • Experience as an educator and trainer in human resource management methodologies.
  • Experience coordinating activities with the Department of State and U.S. embassies.
  • Knowledge of security cooperation authorities, processes, and resources.
  • Ability to develop training and education programs for U.S. and partner nation personnel.
  • Top Secret clearance.
