You will distill this research into actionable recommendations for MISO integration into OPLANS, CONPLANS, and contingency planning. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing Measures of Effectiveness (MOE) and Measures of Performance (MOP) to assess the effectiveness of MISO support to plans and operations. You will also review, assess, and compile documentation on MISO actions and activities to meet OSD and Joint Staff reporting requirements. Your role will involve aiding senior-level strategic planning and briefings, which includes preparing formal papers and background information for senior leader consumption. You will assist in responding to specific questions related to policy and operational plans, analyzing subject plans and concepts for areas of concern, and researching various national security policies, military strategies, vulnerability assessments, and threat and intelligence assessments to inform planning efforts and new concept development. Coordination with other Department of Defense entities, including other Combatant Commands, the Joint Staff, the Office of the Secretary of Defense, and USINDOPACOM's component and sub-unified commands will also be part of your responsibilities.
