About the position

The Military IT Event Planner at Cortina Solutions is responsible for coordinating and managing exercise training events for the Pacific Warfighting Center (PWC) in the INDOPACOM Area of Responsibility. This role involves producing and managing event support documentation, facilitating virtual collaboration, and maintaining relevant exercise support data on SharePoint. The position requires strong communication skills and the ability to work with military, civilian, and contractor personnel to ensure successful event execution.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage exercise training events for the Pacific Warfighting Center.
• Produce and manage event support and facility documentation.
• Coordinate and manage virtual collaboration sessions.
• Schedule In-Progress Review (IPR) meetings with stakeholders.
• Identify, verify, and track all event IT, COMMS, and System/Network requirements.
• Implement and manage access and badging processes for each exercise/event.
• Develop and maintain event support plans and documentation products.
• Create and present the PWC Facility Brief for each event.
• Compile and make available event daily agendas and schedules.
• Communicate with and lead meetings with USINDOPACOM leadership and planners.
• Create and manage exercise and facility SharePoint sites.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree with two years of relevant experience, or four years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance.
• Knowledge of communication systems such as Microsoft TEAMS or Adobe Connect.
• Experience establishing secret-video teleconference (VTC) meetings.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint or similar large database systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
