HII's Mission Technologies division is seeking a qualified Military Operations Analyst to join the Navy Warfare Development Center (NWDC) N2 Information Warfare Directorate in Norfolk, VA. This position is integral to the development and execution of war games, exercises, and experiments that support fleet commanders and their staff. The successful candidate will serve as an adversary subject matter expert, leading fleet staff war games and conducting senior leader briefs. The role requires conducting qualitative research and analyses for various military operations, ensuring that scenarios are tailored to the commander's goals and informed by actual operations and plans. The analyst will utilize processed intelligence assessments, operational reports, and databases to lead the development and execution of war games, providing critical insights into adversary military capabilities and tactics. The Military Operations Analyst will collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders throughout the development and execution phases of war games, exercises, and experiments. This includes comparing, analyzing, and evaluating existing and emerging adversary doctrine and tactics. The analyst will also create scenario materials such as intelligence reporting, messaging, assessments, and handbooks that are essential for operational and tactical level scenarios. The position demands a strong understanding of command and control, space operations, electromagnetic maneuver warfare, information operations, and C5ISR/SIGINT capabilities. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in fleet operations, planning, experimentation, and exercises, and will be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with advanced writing skills necessary for drafting reports for senior officers and executive civilians.
