About the position

HII Mission Technologies is seeking a Military Operations Analyst to support the Joint Staff (JS) J-7 Joint Warfighting Development (JWD) contract. The primary place of duty will be at the Pentagon in Washington, DC. This role is crucial in aiding project and task management, as well as providing planning and operations support for the execution of multiple Disruptive Technology Courses (DTCs). The analyst will be responsible for tracking DTC taskers and disseminating DTC requirements to both internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with suspense timelines. This includes analyzing travel and funding requirements for DTCs, curating a portfolio of subject matter experts on selected DTC topics, and coordinating the nomination process for DTC participants via the TMT system. In addition, the analyst will be tasked with synchronizing and scheduling all DTC briefers, coordinating with the National Intelligence University (NIU) in Bethesda, MD, and executing DTCs, which involves scheduling meetings and conferences up to the TS/SCI level. The role also includes producing and reviewing documents to finalize and coordinate plans, procedures, and reports that align with JWD's current and future DTC activities. This encompasses input to weekly summaries, leadership synchronization events, and periodic reports of activity and task coordination. Furthermore, the analyst will be responsible for the security coordination of all DTC participants, liaising directly with them to prepare invitational orders, manage DTS cross-organizational tasks, and ensure the accurate and timely submission of documents to the assigned Resource Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Track Disruptive Technology Course (DTC) taskers and disseminate DTC requirements to stakeholders.
  • Analyze DTC travel and funding requirements.
  • Curate a subject matter expert portfolio on selected DTC topics.
  • Coordinate the DTC nomination process via TMT and schedule all DTC briefers.
  • Coordinate with National Intelligence University (NIU) and execute DTCs, including scheduling meetings and conferences.
  • Produce and review documents to finalize and coordinate plans, procedures, and reports for JWD's DTC activities.
  • Ensure security coordination of all DTC participants.
  • Liaise with DTC participants to prepare invitational orders and manage document submissions.

Requirements

  • 15 years relevant experience with a Bachelor's in a related field; 13 years with a Master's; 10 years with a PhD or Juris Doctorate; or 19 years relevant experience with a High School Diploma.
  • Experience in planning and operations support for senior officer level events.
  • Experience interfacing with military or government leaders at high levels (GO/FO, SES, foreign military officers).
  • Proficiency in the Joint Staff ETMS2 (TMT) tasking system.
  • Understanding of the Defense Travel System (DTS) and JS Guide 5711.
  • Proficiency with the Defense Information System for Security (DISS) and Scattered Castles.
  • Security Clearance: TS/SCI required, SAP eligible clearance, and eligibility for a JWICS account.
