About the position

As a Senior Manager in Military Operations Business Development and Client Delivery at Booz Allen Hamilton, you will play a pivotal role in driving and expanding the Army's business. Your expertise and established relationships with key clients will be instrumental in business development and market growth initiatives across the Army. You will assist in large-scale capture and solutioning efforts, collaborating with teammates, vendors, and internal partners to ensure successful outcomes. Your ability to translate a deep understanding of current and future strategic, operational, and tactical challenges facing diverse Army systems into actionable business development initiatives will be crucial. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for architecting future technological solutions that create innovative products and services, thereby increasing opportunities at the right time and in the right places. You will also be tasked with building and representing a diverse team, creating, designing, and implementing agreements and arrangements while mitigating risks and ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and performance standards. Your leadership will inspire, motivate, and develop a high-energy team to excel through transitions and changes, ensuring that the team remains focused and effective in achieving its goals. This position is based in Picatinny, NJ, and requires a strong commitment to excellence and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities

  • Drive and grow the Army's business leveraging expertise and key client relationships.
  • Assist with large-scale capture and solutioning efforts with teammates, vendors, and internal partners.
  • Translate comprehension of strategic, operational, and tactical challenges into business development initiatives.
  • Provide leadership to solve problems and architect future technological solutions.
  • Build and represent a diverse team in creating, designing, and implementing agreements and arrangements.
  • Mitigate risks and ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and performance standards.
  • Inspire, motivate, and develop a high-energy team to excel through transition and change.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience with leadership, including leading cross-functional teams in acquisition, engineering, analytics, and consulting.
  • 8+ years of experience individually leading teams in capture and proposal management activities.
  • Experience with DoD munitions and weapons portfolio and business model.
  • Experience maintaining relationships with key decision makers and leaders from the DoD community.
  • Experience managing capture and execution of business pipelines.
  • Experience with program management of active contracts and opportunities.
  • Ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
  • Bachelor's degree.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience maintaining relationships with key decision makers and leaders from the Army munitions and weapons community such as DEVCOM Armaments Center or JPEO Armaments and Ammunition.
  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Science, or Mathematics.
  • PMI Certification.
