About the position

The Military Operations Specialist at Kratos Defense and Rocket Support Services will support operations at a Government Facility on Fort Bliss, TX. This role involves assisting the Task Order Manager in preparing documentation for the integration of tactical systems and simulations for large-scale Live, Virtual, and Constructive (LVC) events. The Specialist will provide support for various Army Air & Missile Defense initiatives and contribute to the development and evaluation of advanced military capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Task Order Manager with event documentation for tactical systems integration.
• Provide input to the Project Leader and Task Manager during analysis activities.
• Support the integration of system components and operational products for specified requirements.
• Conduct research, analysis, and development for Air and Missile Defense Forces.
• Develop M&S tools for hypersonic assessment and evaluation.
• Enhance and deliver Reconfigurable Table Top Trainers (RT3) environments for training and testing.

Requirements

• At least eight (8) years of relevant work experience in military operations with a bachelor's degree, or eleven (11) years of experience with a high school diploma or GED.
• Extensive experience in integrating Air and Missile Defense capabilities in live and virtual programs.
• Deep understanding of MS Office products for planning and reporting.
• Active Security Clearance.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with planning and managing Link-16 networks and associated interfaces.
• Familiarity with DoD Modeling & Simulation applications, especially AMD M&S applications.
• Understanding of Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes and IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Security +, Network +).
