About the position
Aerotek is seeking two skilled CNC Mill Machinists to operate and set up CNC mill machines in Springboro, Ohio. The role involves working with various metal alloys and ensuring product quality through precise measurements and adjustments. The position is for the second shift, offering competitive pay and a shift premium.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate DMG Mori Seiki machines and Smart CNC Machines with Funuc and Mitsubishi controls.
- Operate multiple machines simultaneously, typically three.
- Deburr parts as needed after machining.
- Hold tolerances of +/- 0.5.
- Make slight adjustments to G&M codes as required.
- Use micrometers and calipers to ensure product quality.
- Work with titanium, aluminum, bronze, copper, and steel alloys.
Requirements
- Previous experience operating CNC Mill machines.
- Ability to set up machines and tooling.
- Proficiency in using precision micrometers and calipers.
- Blueprint reading skills.
- Ability to perform minor maintenance on machines, such as filling/checking coolant and oil, and changing filters.
Nice-to-haves
- Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
- Experience with CAD Programming.
- Familiarity with Twin Spindles.
- Experience with cutting jaws.
