About the position

Boise Cascade has an exciting opening for a Millwork Account Manager. This exciting position will live in, support customers and drive sales in the Louisiana and Mississippi markets. The role involves performing marketing and outside sales of a broad mix of products and services dealer accounts through personal customer contact. The position requires travel through the assigned territory, quoting prices, and conducting sales presentations. The Millwork Account Manager will develop and implement sales strategies and product promotions, resolve customer issues, respond to complaints and receivable problems, and provide claims service. Job site visits may be included, and maintaining knowledge of competitor products is essential. The manager will manage territory/customers for profitable results, provide promotional and merchandising support to customers, and offer training to customers, customer associates, and contractors and/or Sales Reps as needed. A strong commitment to safety, quality, environmental awareness, and continuous process improvement is expected. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • College Degree or equivalent work experience in related job function.
  • Working conditions are an office environment with minimal physical exertion.

Nice-to-haves

  • Typically three (3) to five (5) years of experience in related job function.
