About the position

BROSCO by Boise Cascade is hiring for Millwork Material Handlers, apply today! This position is located in an indoor warehouse environment. The starting pay is $22.00/hour, with additional compensation based on experience (DOE), a $1.00/hr shift differential, and potential bonuses. This is a full-time position with overtime available. The working hours are Monday to Friday, on a swing shift from 2 PM to 10:30 PM. Responsibilities

  • Transport raw materials and finished products to and from machinery, equipment and storage area.
  • Load and unload inventory as needed.
  • Apply and understand mathematical calculations and concepts involving fractions, decimals, percentages, etc.
  • Manage and provide reports on production, quality, and order fulfillment process and performance.
  • Maintain good housekeeping in work area.
  • Follow safety programs and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.
  • Train, assign and oversee work of others and ensure work is complete and built to order specifications.
  • Work with and assist location manager and sales team to promote and describe fabrication process to customers of assigned and new products.
  • Responsible for raw materials and finished goods inventory, materials order replenishment, and maintaining product pricing.
  • Demonstrate strong commitment to safety, quality, environmental awareness, and continuous process improvement.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED or two (2) years equivalent work experience.
  • Ability to understand and communicate safety and other work-related instructions.
  • Ability to perform duties in all weather conditions.

Nice-to-haves

  • Typically more than three (3) years of experience in related job function.
  • Technical certification or associate's degree may be required.
