About the position

The Millwork Production Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing the production processes at our fast-growing manufacturing facility located in Bantam, CT. This position is essential for ensuring that our high-quality, custom millwork products meet the rigorous standards expected in the hospitality and multi-family living industries. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and managing personnel on the factory floor, leading a team of skilled workers to achieve production targets while maintaining a safe and efficient working environment. In this role, you will be tasked with maintaining all production equipment, ensuring that machinery is in excellent working condition to prevent downtime and maintain productivity. Regular quality control inspections will be a key responsibility, as you will need to ensure that all finished products meet our high-quality standards before they are delivered to clients. You will also analyze production data to identify and resolve any issues that may arise during the manufacturing process, utilizing your problem-solving skills to implement effective solutions. Safety compliance is paramount in our operations, and you will conduct frequent inspections to ensure that all health and safety regulations are adhered to. Additionally, you will coordinate product flow across multiple departments, optimizing efficiency and ensuring that production schedules are met. This position requires a strong leader who can motivate and guide their team while maintaining a focus on quality and safety.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • 4 years or more in millwork manufacturing and managerial or supervisory roles.
