Responsibilities
- Work in a plywood mill as an Electrician A.
- Possess the knowledge to work with Allen-Bradley programmable logic controllers (PLC).
- Troubleshoot/change electric motors.
- Diagnose chart recorders, Honeywell controllers, MTS temposonics, and various sizes of transformers.
Requirements
- Full understanding and working knowledge of multi-meters, wiggies, meggers, amprobes, temperature meter, and servo drive.
- Working knowledge of shop math and blue print reading, relay logic systems, circuit breakers, starters, etc.
- Competent in working with Windows based computer programs such as Windows Explorer and RSLogix.
- Two years electrical experience in manufacturing industry is required.
- High school diploma/GED equivalent or 2 years manufacturing, maintenance or related work experience.
- Ability to read and write and pass a drug screen, background check & pre-employment physical.
Nice-to-haves
- Vocational or technical school diploma in electricity/electronic is preferred.
- Experience in the wood products field is a plus.
