About the position

The Millwright Project Manager at P1 Construction is responsible for managing construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. This role involves overseeing field staff, subcontractor performance, and vendor compliance while maintaining effective communication with clients and stakeholders. The position requires a strong understanding of contract documents, safety regulations, and project management principles.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction projects or assist senior management on large projects.
• Oversee the project's field staff and subcontractor performance.
• Ensure compliance with contract documents, budgets, and safety regulations.
• Maintain constructive relationships with clients, vendors, subcontractors, and community officials.
• Contribute to the success of the company by managing projects efficiently and effectively.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree in a construction or mechanical engineering related discipline, or at least five years of millwright/mechanical field trade experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of construction project management experience, preferably in industrial millwright project management.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and motor vehicle record check.
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet company vehicle operation qualifications.
