The position involves troubleshooting, diagnosing, modifying, fabricating, and repairing mill equipment such as SAG mills, ball mills, conveyors, pumps, and piping systems. The role requires performing occasional welding and light fabrication, generating work orders, checking on the status of orders, and picking up parts and supplies from the warehouse. The employee will operate heavy equipment associated with mill operations and maintenance. Compliance with all company policies and procedures, especially regarding Safety, Human Resources, and Environmental regulations, is mandatory. The employee must follow and understand MSHA rules and regulations, environmental rules and regulations, SOP, and work area instructions, and participate in safety and environmental activities. Participation in Risk Assessment activities is also required.
