About the position
The Millwright position at Aerotek involves maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and upgrading mechanical, electrical, and electronic components in an industrial setting. Responsibilities
- Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade mechanical, electrical, and electronic components.
- Work with automated systems, including heat treating equipment and automatic cutting equipment.
- Use overhead cranes, assembly equipment, and conveyor systems in a team environment.
- Clean backboards and perform maintenance tasks as needed.
- Change gearboxes, driveshafts, motors, etc.
- Work with 15-600hp motors and demonstrate comfort in handling them.
- Understand and work with Allen Bradley 700 series.
Requirements
- Experience in industrial maintenance or a related field.
- Knowledge of automated systems and mechanical components.
- Ability to work in a team environment and use various industrial equipment.
- Comfortable working with large motors and changing mechanical parts.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).
- Familiarity with safety protocols in an industrial setting.
