About The Position
IMI is seeking a full-time Millwright local to the Athens, GA area. The role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining machinery and equipment according to construction plans, blueprints, and other drawings in industrial establishments. The position requires the use of hoists, lift trucks, hand tools, and power tools. The Millwright will be responsible for assembling and installing equipment such as shafting, conveyors, gearboxes, and pumps, as well as aligning machines and equipment using various tools. The candidate must be able to work within precise limits or standards of accuracy and utilize logical step-by-step procedures for work, planning, solving problems, and decision making based on quantifiable information.
