The Certified Coach will provide individual and group coaching services to clients at Out of the Box, Counseling, Coaching, and Consulting, focusing on various areas such as Life, Leadership, Career, Mindset, and Spirituality. The role emphasizes building strong relationships, promoting self-awareness, and utilizing therapeutic techniques to help clients achieve their personal and professional goals. The position is ideal for those who are passionate about social justice, inclusivity, and community wellness, and who thrive in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Set goals for clients and help them identify areas for development.
• Build strong working relationships with clients to encourage open communication.
• Help clients develop self-awareness and understand the impact of their beliefs on their feelings.
• Monitor client progress and hold them accountable for meeting milestones.
• Provide objective support and encouragement to clients.
• Assist clients in developing skills such as communication, leadership, and confidence.
• Use questioning techniques, listening skills, and mindfulness to aid clients.
• Help clients analyze their thoughts, emotions, reactions, and actions.
• Adjust coaching methods as needed to help clients work toward their goals.
• Conduct coaching services in accordance with company policies and maintain professional conduct.

Requirements

• Doctoral degree or Master's degree in counseling or social work.
• Certified coaching training or completion of Dr. O's coaching certification course.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively.
• Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to work independently.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in social justice-oriented coaching.
• Familiarity with anti-racism practices and LGBTQ allyship.
