About The Position

The Mining Key Account Manager at Milwaukee Tool is responsible for enhancing brand presence and market share within the Mining Industry. This role involves implementing conversion programs, launching new products, and conducting market analysis while collaborating closely with distribution teams to optimize sales strategies and inventory management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, preferably in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related area.
  • Minimum of three years of related work experience in sales, sales operations, or sales support tied to the Mining Industry.
  • 5-7 years of experience in Marketing/Sales roles.
  • Excellent data analysis skills with the ability to turn insights into actionable strategies.
  • Experience building relationships with distribution partners and industry stakeholders.
  • Effective communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
  • Innovative problem solver with a sense of urgency.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid U.S. driver's license required.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with federal MSHA safety standards and training.
  • Experience with regulations and interaction with regulatory agencies related to solution and underground mining.

Responsibilities

  • Build relationships and develop plans to increase brand share and awareness within the Mining Industry.
  • Implement end-user conversion programs and launch new products.
  • Conduct competitive and market analysis specific to mining.
  • Collaborate with the distribution team to ensure alignment on market strategies.
  • Optimize sell-through and manage inventory for mining operations.
  • Coordinate promotions and foster relationships with distributor account managers.
  • Engage in local and national trade shows and events, directing activities as necessary.
  • Support local and National Mining Training Centers.
  • Act as a liaison between customers and internal departments to resolve issues.
  • Drive account strategy to achieve corporate goals.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to develop distributor programming and marketing materials.
  • Analyze and report on sales performance, providing insights to senior leadership.
  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities and present findings to senior leadership.
  • Represent Milwaukee Tool at key customer presentations and industry events.
