About the position
We are seeking a reliable Minivan Driver to transport wheelchair passengers in a safe and timely manner. The ideal candidate will have some experience in various types of driving, including Uber, Lyft, shuttle driving, bus driving, or delivery driving. Full training will be provided to ensure the driver is well-prepared for the role.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a minivan to transport wheelchair passengers to designated locations
- Communicate effectively with passengers and ensure a comfortable ride
- Report the needed routine vehicle maintenance to ensure safety and efficiency
- Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the minivan as needed
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road.
Requirements
- Must have a valid Oregon Driver License
- Must be at least 23 years old
- Must have a clean MVR/DMV records check (No more than 2 tickets within the past 24 months)
- Must be a licensed driver for at least 2 years in the United States
- No DUI's within the past 10 years
- No criminal convictions in the past 5 years
- Must be able to pass drug screening pre and throughout employment
- Must know how to use a smartphone and GPS
- Read and speak English
