About the position

The Mission Assurance Construct Implementation Analyst at Sancorp Consulting LLC plays a critical role in supporting the Department of Defense's (DoD) efforts to ensure operational continuity in the face of various threats. This position involves providing technical advice, analysis, and support for the implementation of the Mission Assurance Construct, which includes risk management and resilience planning for defense critical infrastructure. The analyst will work closely with senior leaders and various stakeholders to develop and integrate plans and policies that enhance the DoD's ability to execute its core functions during crises.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical advice, analysis, and support for the implementation of the Mission Assurance Construct as outlined in DODD 3020.40 and DODI 3020.45.
  • Support and enable execution of Mission Assurance Coordination Board (MACB) functions and meetings.
  • Produce supporting documentation, slides, and analysis for meetings and engagements.
  • Provide technical advice and recommendations to integrate the Mission Assurance Construct into broader DoD processes.
  • Prepare and coordinate draft packages and updates for senior Department leaders regarding MA construct implementation.
  • Support synchronization of MA guidance as outlined in relevant documents.
  • Provide technical analysis and assistance in reviewing and improving MA-related programs and activities.
  • Assist in developing policy training requirements for DCI risk management and resilience.
  • Provide technical analysis and assistance in developing mechanisms for DoD research and development actions to incorporate the MA framework.
  • Support the development and functions of MA databases and information sharing.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Homeland Security, Cybersecurity, Systems Engineering, or related field required.
  • 6 years of related experience in disaster recovery and risk management.
  • Ability to identify, evaluate, and prioritize risks to the organization's operations.
  • Experience in developing and implementing disaster recovery plans for IT systems and operations.
  • Proficiency in managing projects from inception to completion and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
