The Mission Control Tech I position at Texas Health Resources is a part-time role focused on supporting patient care through the management and transportation of medical equipment within a fast-paced hospital environment. The role emphasizes teamwork, exceptional patient care, and effective communication with supervisors to ensure service standards are met.

  • Utilizes Real Time Location System (RTLS) to track equipment.
  • Maintains par levels on units, picks up dirty equipment, and tracks usage of beds and rental equipment.
  • Visualizes and tracks other rental equipment as needed.
  • Communicates equipment usage and other information to lead/supervisor.
  • Transports patient care equipment, supplies, and other applicable supporting items throughout the hospital.
  • Prioritizes non-patient care moves to complement patient care moves.
  • Ensures service standards as defined by THD are upheld and scores well on customer satisfaction metrics.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
  • 6 months related experience preferred.
  • 6 months customer service experience preferred.
