About the position

Adams Electric Company is seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial Electrical Construction Project Manager to oversee the management of assigned projects, ensuring installation, performance, and profitability while adhering to quality standards and regulatory compliance. The role involves collaboration with various teams, including Human Resources for workforce recruitment, and requires strong leadership and communication skills to manage project activities effectively.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned projects including installation, performance, and profitability.
• Conduct project meetings and ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Plan and prepare all contract administration and maintain client relationships.
• Create job cost budgets and manage subcontractor packages related to the scope of work.
• Oversee VDC/BIM processes and ensure quality control in project drawings.
• Develop and maintain material management and logistics plans for projects.
• Create and maintain project schedules and manpower projections.
• Manage subcontractor scopes of work and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
• Develop and maintain safety and quality control plans for projects.
• Review and analyze project documents and manage project costs and change orders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or equivalent experience.
• 5-10 years of experience in Mission Critical Project Management with an Electrical Contractor.
• Proven skills in people management, process management, and performance management.
• Knowledge of financial software and accounting practices.
• Strong budget tracking, labor tracking, and scheduling skills.
• Ability to review drawings for change order pricing and material procurement.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Bluebeam.
