About the position

Adams Electric Company is seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial Electrical Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage multiple projects. The role involves ensuring project performance, profitability, and compliance with quality standards while collaborating with various teams to deliver successful outcomes. The Project Manager will be responsible for all aspects of project management from pre-construction to project completion, including scheduling, budgeting, subcontractor management, and safety oversight.

Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned projects including installation, performance, and profitability.
  • Plan and prepare all contract administration and execute project activities.
  • Develop and maintain client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Create job cost budgets and schedules of values for projects.
  • Price and procure subcontractor packages and major material packages.
  • Oversee VDC/BIM processes and ensure quality control in project drawings.
  • Create and maintain material management and logistics plans for projects.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and manpower projections.
  • Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Create and maintain safety and quality control plans for projects.
  • Review and analyze project documents and resolve construction challenges.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or equivalent experience.
  • 5-10 years of experience in Mission Critical Project Management with an Electrical Contractor.
  • Proven people management, process management, and performance management skills.
  • Knowledge of financial software, accounting practices, and change order pricing.
  • Strong budget tracking, labor tracking, and scheduling skills.
  • Ability to review drawings for change order pricing and material procurement.
  • Proficiency in information analysis and budget setup.
  • Strong written, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and recollect past projects.
