About the position

The Mission Operations Engineer role at Anduril Industries involves orchestrating the deployment of advanced defense technology products, managing customer relationships, and ensuring mission success. This position requires collaboration across various teams to tailor Anduril's offerings to meet specific mission needs, while also driving business growth through customer success and engagement. The role emphasizes a mission-first mindset, ownership mentality, and technical aptitude to effectively address complex challenges in defense operations.

Responsibilities

  • Orchestrate the deployment of Anduril products and lead planning efforts for customer missions.
  • Collaborate with engineering, logistics, and technical operations teams to ensure high performance of deployed products.
  • Establish trust-based partnerships with customers to drive top-line growth and identify future opportunities.
  • Work closely with customers to understand their mission challenges and shape Anduril products accordingly.
  • Engage with various internal teams to ensure successful deployment of complex hardware and software products.
  • Serve in a customer-facing Account Manager capacity, delivering contract deliverables and technical reports.
  • Design and implement user feedback loops to gather and prioritize requirements and issues.
  • Support engagement with other service components and government organizations for product integration.
  • Develop a streamlined user feedback and engagement system for training and preparation for exercises.

Requirements

  • Experience in technical program/account management roles.
  • Experience translating technical concepts into operational requirements and performance specifications.
  • Experience in program management and product deployment roles.
  • Secret/TS Clearance with SCI eligibility strongly preferred.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Joint intelligence, operational planning, targeting, and fires systems.
  • Familiarity with command and control concepts and processes.
  • Prior military or government acquisition and/or contracting experience.
