About the position
The Mission Support Operator (MSO) role involves supporting the engineering department in the technology of self-driving vehicles for military applications. The position is full-time and offers opportunities for overtime, focusing on vehicle safety processes and preventive maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Support the engineering department in various tasks related to self-driving vehicles.
- Learn and apply vehicle safety processes and procedures.
- Assist in vehicle preventive maintenance as needed.
- Manage personal time effectively to ensure punctuality and preparedness for work.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license is required; CDL is not necessary.
- Basic knowledge of 2-way radios is preferred.
- Experience in a warehouse environment is beneficial.
- Basic computer skills are necessary.
- Ability to learn and apply vehicle safety processes and procedures.
- Must be able to pass background and drug screening.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience operating heavy machinery, such as forklifts, is preferred but not required.
- Willingness to learn about vehicle preventive maintenance.
