About The Position

Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems is seeking a full-time Systems Engineer specializing in mission systems integration. This role involves designing, developing, and optimizing mission systems interfaces to enhance user experiences and improve system functionality. The engineer will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to solve complex problems and contribute to innovative projects in the defense and aerospace sectors.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Applied Sciences.
• Experience in requirements development and system design, including Functional System Diagrams, SysML, and DOORS.
• Knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), preferably using Cameo.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance at the Secret level.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with cross-functional teams in hardware and software integration.
• Familiarity with Agile processes and tools like JIRA/Confluence.
• Experience in system verification, integration, and testing.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mission systems interfaces for optimal user experience.
• Translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
• Allocate requirements and define hardware/software interfaces.
• Integrate hardware and software components and conduct system tests.
• Support flight tests and ensure system verification and validation.
