About the position

The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for directing all operations of a designated project, serving as the primary point of contact for all stakeholders. The PM ensures successful project execution and completion, focusing on production, safety, communication, and maintaining brand integrity. The role emphasizes customer satisfaction, revenue and profit growth, and the development of management and staff, leading the team towards operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare mobilization of resources based on loss details such as type of loss and occupancy type.
  • Conduct a walk-through focusing on safety, business interruption needs, customer concerns, and emergency service needs.
  • Establish a safety, stabilization, business interruption, and emergency services plan to present to the customer.
  • Communicate with customers and key stakeholders to share project progress and next steps.
  • Direct the Resource Coordinator/Supply Supervisor in planning site organization and transportation needs.
  • Develop the full scope of services for the project to ensure all work and time are accounted for.
  • Review the full scope of services prior to submission to the client.
  • Create and finalize resource need timelines, project organizational chart, projected milestones, and detailed project tasks.
  • Conduct initial project planning meetings with relevant team members to review scope of services and resource needs.
  • Conduct daily management meetings with the project team to ensure proper communication and documentation of operations.
  • Define daily work orders for personnel on site based on project progress and customer communications.
  • Evaluate project progress daily and communicate findings to the Restoration Supervisor.
  • Direct efforts of demobilization and finalization of documentation for invoicing.
  • Support and manage production personnel.

Requirements

  • Minimum three years of experience in a similar industry.
  • One year of management and/or supervisory experience.
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, and project management skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Advanced problem-solving skills for complex scheduling and customer requests.
  • Excellent presentation skills for updating project progress to upper management.
  • Detail-oriented with an emphasis on project management.
  • Exceptional organizational skills for workforce utilization and documentation.
