The Mitigation Project Manager at Paul Davis Restoration of Tacoma plays a crucial role in responding to emergencies related to fire, water, storm, and mold damage. This position involves overseeing restoration projects, ensuring compliance with company standards, and providing exceptional customer service during challenging times. The role requires a proactive approach to managing multiple crews and maintaining high-quality workmanship on-site.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to emergencies which may include fire, flood, mold, vehicle impact, trauma, etc.
  • Advance knowledge of the operation of drying and restoration equipment such as dehumidifiers, air movers, HEPA filter equipment, and other remediation equipment.
  • Oversee and perform labor tasks, such as controlled deconstruction and removal of debris.
  • Run/schedule multiple crews.
  • Oversee the quality of workmanship on site and ensure compliance with Paul Davis standards.
  • Act as daily on-site contact for the customer, ensuring their needs are met and questions are answered.
  • Monitor and provide appropriate documentation for dry-out jobs to all interested parties.
  • Drive company vehicles, including trucks, trailers, and other machinery.
  • Ensure that Paul Davis safety guidelines are followed on job sites.
  • Share knowledge, train, and mentor others.

Requirements

  • Active IICRC WRT, ASD certification required (AMR & FSRT certification is preferred but not required)
  • 3 or more years as an experienced Mitigation Restoration Technician in Water, Fire and Mold
  • Strong desire to help others during a difficult time
  • A professional appearance and great attitude
  • A valid driver's license & pass a motor vehicle report
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check
  • A high school diploma or a GED certificate
  • The ability to lift a minimum of 75 pounds, to climb ladders and get into confined spaces
  • Willingness to work in fire, smoke, mold, water damage, and other hazardous environments (necessary PPE provided by Paul Davis.)
