About the position

The Mitigation Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating various construction projects, particularly in water damage restoration, from inception to completion. This role requires strong organizational skills, effective communication, and proficiency in project management software to ensure projects are executed efficiently and meet safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage multiple construction projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time and within scope.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals.
  • Review and analyze schematics and blueprints to ensure compliance with design specifications.
  • Utilize project management tools such as Bluebeam, Primavera, ProCore, and Civil 3D for effective project tracking and reporting.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address any issues that arise, and ensure safety standards are met.
  • Prepare construction estimates and budgets while identifying potential cost-saving opportunities.
  • Facilitate communication between all parties involved in the project to ensure transparency and collaboration.

Requirements

  • Strong background in construction management and project coordination.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics.
  • Strong experience with construction estimating techniques.
  • Familiarity with project scheduling methodologies.
  • Knowledge of construction site operations and safety regulations.
  • Experience with project coordination tools such as ProCore and Primavera.
  • Ability to utilize Civil 3D for design purposes.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with team members and stakeholders.
