About the position

The Restoration Project Manager/Estimator is responsible for calculating job budgets, preparing formal bids, and overseeing restoration projects in a commercial construction environment. This role involves interfacing with clients, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, and leading teams to achieve safe and efficient project completion.

Responsibilities

  • Reviewing project proposals to determine budget, time frames, staffing requirements, and resource allocation.
  • Outlining work plans and assigning duties, responsibilities, and authority to project staff; awarding subcontracts and issuing purchase orders.
  • Arranging all permits, drawings, and submittals required; negotiating and executing all change orders.
  • Preparing project reports for management, clients, and other stakeholders.
  • Conferring with project personnel to provide technical advice and resolve problems, modifying schedules or plans as necessary.
  • Preparing and maintaining job costs on a daily/weekly basis and reviewing them with project personnel.
  • Monitoring project closeout, including final quantities, change orders, and releases from agreements.
  • Obtaining letters of acceptance.

Requirements

  • 3+ years' experience in Commercial Restoration Construction PM/Estimation
  • Working knowledge of commercial restoration construction documentation
  • General contracting knowledge
  • Ability to write and review contracts
  • Experience with Xactimate software
  • BS/BA in Construction, Engineering, or Business is a plus
  • Knowledge of Mold Remediation, Water Damage Restoration, and Fire Damage Restoration processes
  • Knowledge of leadership techniques, production methods, and coordination of people and resources
  • Ability to produce timely results of high quality and accuracy
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a technical orientation
  • Ability to identify, correct, and report unsafe conditions according to company and OSHA standards
  • IICRC, FSRT, AMR, WRT Certifications are a plus
