As a PHY Analog/Mixed-Signal Circuit Designer at Apple, you will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to creating innovative products that enhance the lives of millions. This role involves tackling complex challenges in the design of high-performance PHY circuits, where you will collaborate closely with various teams including Platform Architecture, Logic Designers, SIPI, Layout, DV, and Timing Teams. Your contributions will be pivotal in delivering top-tier PHY designs that meet Apple's high standards for quality and performance. In this position, you will engage in all phases of the design process, from the initial architectural concept to the final delivery of GDS. Your responsibilities will include performing transistor-level Analog/Mixed-Signal Circuit Designs and working alongside Layout Teams to ensure the successful physical implementation of these designs. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in Analog/Mixed-Signal Circuit Design, particularly in the context of PHYs, which includes components such as TX, RX, Delay Locked Loops, Phase Interpolators, Delay Lines, Duty Cycle Correctors, and reference generators. You will also be expected to generate block and chip-level specifications, conduct block-level verification to ensure that designs meet performance, power, and area specifications, and participate in establishing design methodologies that promote correct-by-construction designs. This role is not just about technical skills; it also requires a collaborative spirit and a passion for innovation, as you will be shaping the future of Apple's product offerings.
