About the position

Annapolis Micro Systems, Inc. is seeking a Mixed Signal Hardware Engineer to join their innovative team. This role involves designing and testing high-performance computing products that integrate both analog and digital circuits. The engineer will contribute to the development of cutting-edge technology that serves various sectors, including defense and aerospace, while working collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design electronic product architecture.
  • Create schematic designs for complex circuits including High-Speed ADCs and DACs, RF components, and power supplies.
  • Prototype and test new designs in the laboratory.
  • Collaborate with team members to develop COTS solutions with a focus on end-user needs.
  • Generate documentation to assist the software team in enabling and testing hardware functionality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical, Computer Engineering, Physics or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of electrical and computer engineering fundamentals.
  • Strong understanding of Analog and Digital conversion fundamentals.
  • General understanding of RF principles.
  • General understanding of mechanical and thermal fundamentals; advanced knowledge is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • U.S. Citizenship.

Nice-to-haves

  • Willingness to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.
  • Experience with FPGA, PLD, and PPC design.
