About the position

The Bartender position at W Amsterdam involves joining the B&F Team, responsible for the W Lounge, In Room Dining, and Banqueting. This role focuses on delivering exceptional cocktail experiences in a vibrant and fast-paced environment, ensuring guests enjoy personalized service and memorable moments.

Responsibilities

• Report directly to the Head Bartender.
• Responsible for the daily operations at W Lounge.
• Be the expert on the cocktail menu and create new cocktails on the fly.
• Welcome and assist guests, making cocktail suggestions and food pairings.
• Follow service standards and operating procedures for each order and interaction.
• Provide personalized service through the Whatever/Whenever philosophy.
• Maintain a clean and sparkling environment.
• Prepare for shifts and support colleagues during busy periods.
• Communicate effectively with team members and other departments.
• Perform any additional tasks that enhance guest experiences.

Requirements

• Minimum of one-year experience in a similar role.
• Fluency in English; Dutch and other languages are appreciated.
• Experience in the luxury segment is an advantage.
• Work permit for The Netherlands is required.
