About the position

The Market Director Revenue Analyst position at Saint Francis Hospital Bartlett is responsible for monitoring and analyzing reports that drive service level agreements (SLA) and key performance indicators (KPI) for the hospital. This role involves identifying trends, implementing solutions to enhance client satisfaction, and providing comprehensive support to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

Responsibilities

  • Monitor reports for a single hospital that drive SLA/KPI.
  • Identify trends and facilitate solutions to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Own reporting and provide support to CFO.
  • Prepare and complete eReserve.
  • Analyze eReserve and trends impacting net revenue and complete revenue section of month-end Performance Summary.
  • Monitor, analyze, track, and trend AR disputes.
  • Review and approve manual adjustments and refunds.
  • Review and approve revenue reclasses.
  • Review proposed Managed Care Contracts and identify issues prior to finalization.
  • Assist in analyzing data to verify correct loading of contract terms into MedAssets and proper claim adjudication.
  • Monitor/review billing, AR, and reconciliation for hospital-specific contracts.
  • Work with hospital departments to resolve revenue cycle issues.
  • Collaborate with hospital leadership on revenue cycle issues.
  • Facilitate revenue cycle meetings and follow-up actions.
  • Support and coordinate various leadership and compliance meetings.
  • Serve as a point of escalation for customer service issues.
  • Act as an internal consultant for health systems revenue departments.
  • Prepare or supervise the preparation of Charge Master for the hospitals.
  • Establish procedures for review and updating of charges.
  • Coordinate with Case Management and Medical Records on patient classification issues.
  • Keep CFO and/or Compliance Director informed of compliance issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 8 years of experience in A/R management and/or managed care contracting and analysis.
  • Experience directing a multi-facility business office.
