About the position

The ML Data Engineer at Titan plays a crucial role in implementing and maintaining data infrastructure that supports machine learning operations and internal applications. This position is responsible for translating business requirements into technical specifications, ensuring efficient data integration, and fostering collaboration across teams to enhance data-driven solutions in healthcare reimbursement.

Responsibilities

• Implement efficient and scalable pipelines integrating data from multiple sources to common data models
• Convert raw data into usable information for client and enterprise organizations
• Design, develop, test, implement, and support technical solutions within an Agile team
• Support machine learning, data enrichment, research, and data analysis
• Collaborate with product managers, software engineers, security & compliance, and data scientists
• Identify and debug issues with code and suggest changes and/or improvements
• Perform unit tests and conduct reviews to ensure code quality
• Utilize technologies to collect and map data for cost savings and optimization
• Drive a proactive culture of developing data-driven solutions
• Address complex problems with an agile and engineering mindset
• Coordinate with teams for incident, change, and release management
• Provide input to risk management and report risks as identified
• Stay current with emerging technologies and advancements
• Engage positively with colleagues to foster collaboration
• Comply with compliance requirements to protect patient privacy and organizational data

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or related field preferred
• Knowledge of healthcare related data structures and frameworks (FHIR, HL7, ICD-10, CPT)
• Experience with Agile methodologies
• Experience working in HIPAA, HITRUST or other advanced compliance environments
• Experience leading lifecycle management and integrations of enterprise data
• Ability to articulate technology concepts to business leaders and engineers
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
• Direct experience with Azure SQL
• Experience with Azure Data Factory preferred
• Prior experience facilitating conversations to translate business requirements into technical requirements
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
