About the position

The ML Software Developer Intern at Entrust is a dynamic role focused on software development and machine learning model development. Interns will engage in web application development, collaborating with experienced developers and automation engineers to enhance business operations through innovative solutions. This position offers an opportunity to work on model design for various Entrust platforms, contributing to impactful projects in a flexible and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Create sleek and responsive front-end web applications using JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Work with popular frameworks like Vue.js and Node.js.
• Program using Python for various applications.
• Utilize common ML libraries such as scikit-learn, PyTorch, XgBoost, or TensorFlow.
• Design backend scripts using GraphQL.
• Document development work to ensure clarity and continuity.
• Collaborate closely with the Solution and UX Architect to build smart and user-friendly experiences.

Requirements

• Junior or Senior standing by June 2024.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Pursuing a BS or MS degree in Computer Engineering or Data Science.
• Experience with SQL required.

Nice-to-haves

• Has completed at least one front-end project using Vue.js or React and is able to share a demonstration.
• Has completed at least one ML project and is able to share a demonstration.
• Familiarity with cloud DevOps and MLOps on AWS or Azure.
